My advanced degrees have been earned raising children, painting
and tending my garden. The earth teaches me poetry when I reach
my hands into her warm body to plant seeds. Rainbringing is my
career. My credentials are ripe apricots and grandchildren.
Every day is my classroom, any who want lilies, my students.
My two previous books of poetry are, For Beauty Way (1990) and 1000 Stone Buddhas (1993) both published by Inked
Wingbeat.
My most recent poetry work is Rainbringer
(2004) and The New Sun
(2007) both printed by Sunstone Press.
Poems are instruments I use to peel meaning down to her resplendant
core. Proceeding gently, I shake with respect, a raindrop
holding sun.
